We were so very saddened to hear that George had passed away on 21st August.
Our ukulele sessions would not exist if it had not been for George Welch setting up his “Ukulele Allstars” sessions and band and Misspent Uke.

We have many happy memories of George and owe him so much. We would not be here without his initiative, his love of the ukulele and his delight in encouraging everyone to learn to play and perform – and to have fun doing it.
