There are so many fabulous ukers out there on You Tube! A limitation of this list is that consists of YouTube Channels – not individual videos. There are some great ukers, and whole genres, missing simply because I could not find a dedicated YT Channel, eg. no Del Ray, very little uke-blues. The other reason is that I got a bit bored with making lists after the first twenty . . .
But – tell you what – my current favourite uke video is . . . Brittni Paiva – “Tell U What”:
Comments and suggestions for additions are most welcome! There is a comment box below . . .
“We are all set to go on Saturday, hopefully the weather will stay fine, if not we have a very large marquee and a room to use in the Old Mill. Jack and Mike will be there early to set up for a 12 noon start.
We would like to encourage musicians to form small groups around the grounds of the Old Mill so that everyone gets a fair opportunity to perform. We would also hope that no one gets too precious about their music, and invites others to join in. Don’t forget to tell them what key you are playing in.
All abilities welcome, just join in if you can, or give us a song or two. It’s as much about meeting other musicians as it is about playing music. A musical Social if you like.
You might also like to bring one or two folding chairs, as most of the outside seating is picnic tables, which are not perfect when playing guitars etc.”
Message on The Cumberland Arms Facebook Page, Friday 31st May: “So today is a sad day our lovely Clarence has passed away. He was put to sleep this evening. He spent his last day lying in the sunshine.”
